Vestacare Hydrotherapy Centre Re-opening letter
We know that you have been waiting for us to get back in touch and let you know about the re-opening of the Hydrotherapy Suite.
Over the past several weeks, we have been working on a comprehensive reopening strategy to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. This plan builds upon the Hydrotherapy Suite’s already recognised high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness – and takes them to the next level.
Our priority is to operate safely and in line with government guidelines. We have restructured our daily sessions so that we can sanitise all areas before and after each session; this means that there will be fewer daily sessions to book, in the interests of keeping everyone safe and well. We will now be offering the following times for hydrotherapy:

Under new government guidelines we must increase the chlorine levels, test the pool water 3 times daily instead of 2, increase our ventilation system to its maximum, increase our PPE and cleaning products order, and temperature check everyone who enters the building. If you are in a support bubble, in order to maintain social distancing, we ask that no more than 3 people attend. However, if you are attending with careers who are supporting you, we request that no more than 6 people attend. As outlined in the new regulations, everyone using the pool must be within the same support ‘bubble’. All clients must arrive for their session on time and leave the building at the end of their hour slot. We no longer offer the reception area between sessions under new government guidelines.
Hand sanitisers are available on entrance to the building and on entrance to the pool. Masks must be worn inside the building and can be taken off when you are poolside. All floatation aids will be sanitised before and after each session.
Ten percent discount is available when ten sessions are booked and paid at the same time.
Please be prompt if you wish to book to prevent disappointment.
Please note we have expanded our floor space to maintain social distancing, on site parking is no longer available, please park on the side roads adjacent to our premises.
Please do not come to your hydrotherapy session if you are displaying any of the following symptoms-
The main symptoms of coronavirus are
- A high temperature (we will check the temperature of every person who enters the building and make a record of it)
- A new, continuous cough- this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste- this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Most people with coronavirus have at least one of these symptoms.
If you require a session that is longer than 1 hour please contact the hydrotherapy team, we now have sessions available.
For bookings please call us on 0161 300 6375/ 8467
